On the evening of May 20 , Housing and urban and rural areas Construction Ministry held a television and telephone conference on the issues that Zhejiang province focuses to support the disaster areas in Guangyuan Sichuan province and Ningbo will build 15,000 temporary shelters for the people in Sichuan disaster areas.
In order to implement the spirit of the meeting and the work requirements of City Construction Bureau, to do a good job in the construction work, on the morning of May 21, Ningbo Construction and Management Department convened 16 companies’ managers and held the earthquake relief aid conference. On the meeting, the director of Ningbo Construction and Management Department, Ni Wei conveyed the spirit of television and telephone conference and the work requirements of Ningbo Construction Bureau, disposed the construction work of temporal shelters and asked the companies to think what the disaster areas would think, care the urgency of disaster areas and spread the spirit of hard struggle and braveness. He also demanded them to carry forward the actions immediately, have good preparations for the staff and the construction materials, do a good job in training the technical staff and ensure they can take action immediately when order comes.
At the meeting, the enterprises all expressed their attitudes, they showed that they would do their utmost to do the aid work, and they would take practical action to support the construction work to ensure the early completing the task of building temporal shelters. Many enterprises have begun to do the preparatory work all around, such as Ningbo Construction Corporation, Ningbo Construction Corporation, Ningbo Housing Corporation, Ningbo new energy resource Corporation and so on, and they are ready to obey the call from Ningbo Construction Bureau at any time.
