Ningbo Center Building, Ningbo's "Super Landmark", contracted by the First Construction Group of Shanghai Construction Engineering Group, completed its underground engineering on Nov. 24th, nearly two months prior to the original plan, which indicates that the project will begin its upper-structure construction.
Ningbo Center Building is located in the G core area of Ningbo Eastern New City, with a height of 409 meters and a total construction area of about 240,000 square meters, whose main building has 80 floors, including international A class office buildings and the world's top luxury super five-star hotels, jointly built by Shanghai Construction Engineering, Shanshan Group Developer and China Green City Developer.
Xin Xuwei, General Manager of Ningbo Center Building Construction and Development Co., Ltd., told the reporter that the pile foundation engineering construction began in January 2019. The construction time was shortened by nearly two months ahead of the original plan due to the contribution of all parties, unaffected by the epidemic. It is estimated to complete its upper-structure in the first half of 2023 in Ningbo Eastern New City.
It is reported that the floors from the 4th to 61th of the mansion will be boutique office buildings, whose unique design and exquisite craftsmanship is sure to bring new experience for the customers. The top luxury hotel from 62th to 80th floors will provide customers with remarkable landscape and service.
Since the pile foundation construction of Ningbo Center Building in Jan. 2019, the project team of the First Construction Group of Shanghai Construction Engineering Group has implemented strict control, has refined the process and scheme, and has overcome the difficulties of slow concrete supply, small earthwork amount, rainy weather and so on, scientifically rearranged the construction scheme, and completed the first support and the last 1,200 m3 concrete pouring of the trestle slab in advance. On August 12 this year, 20,000 cubic meters of concrete was successfully poured for the large base plate of the foundation, setting a new record of one-time continuous pouring of super thick foundation slab of the deepest foundation pit near the subway in civil engineering projects.
Meanwhile, "smart site" and "smart construction" have been put into practice, and a variety of innovative technologies have solved a number of technical problems in the process of engineering construction, leading to refined intelligent construction. It has successively overcome difficulties such as super large diameter, 100 meter level super deep, high-density rock embedded pile group construction, scientific prediction of foundation pit deformation with digital construction technology, and automatic detection system with BIM Technology, synchronous construction of group pits to ensure the integrity of the bottom plate and so on.
