On February 20th, Ningbo Urban and Rural Architectural Style Management Office issued the trial version of "Guidelines for the Construction of Ningbo Urban Renewal Future Community (Complete Community) Navigation System". This guideline is the first policy issued in Zhejiang province to standardize the future community sign systems, as well as a guiding document to refine and improve future community construction indicators.

The guidelines points out the construction principles, configuration lists, and example diagrams for future community signs in Ningbo, clarifying the basic construction principles of the future community guidance system, including the coordination of style and color, clear setting of signs, highlighting community cultural characteristics, and the economic and durable construction feature. Future community scene names are to be unified on the basis of distinguishing between outdoor guidance and indoor guidance. Marks are segmented such as the entrance image signs, public service facility guidance signs, direction guidance signs, etc., clarifying the names of each sign and spatial location, standardizing the configuration requirements for future community signage. The requirements for setting up leading and inclusive future community logos have been clarified, and the location, quantity, and size of each logo in the future community have been standardized.

This guideline will further standardize and improve the construction of future communities (complete communities) in our city, enhance the recognition of future communities in Ningbo, attach more updated and Ningbo characteristic to future communities so that future community residents may benefit more from them.
